1. General Provisions
These general terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations between the operator of the yacht Freedom (hereinafter referred to as “the operator”) and the customer (hereinafter referred to as “the client”) who books a cruise on the yacht Freedom in the San Blas Islands, Panama.
2. Reservations and Payments
- The reservation is considered binding once a deposit of 30% of the total cruise price has been paid.
- The remaining 70% balance is due no later than 30 days before the start of the cruise.
- Payments are made by bank transfer according to the operator’s instructions.
3. Price and Scope of Services
- The price includes: one-week charter of the yacht Freedom for up to 6 guests, crew (captain and stewardess/chef), half-board dining, water, anchorage fees, leisure equipment (paddleboard, kayak, snorkeling), cleaning, and bed linens.
- The price does not include: drinks, airport transfer, insurance, fuel according to actual consumption, local community fees in San Blas (USD 30/person), and personal expenses.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation more than 60 days before the cruise: 10% cancellation fee.
- Cancellation 30–60 days before the cruise: 30% cancellation fee.
- Cancellation 15–29 days before the cruise: 70% cancellation fee.
- Cancellation less than 15 days before the cruise: 100% cancellation fee.
5. Insurance
- Clients are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance that includes coverage for cancellation fees.
- The operator is not responsible for any damages resulting from lack of insurance.
6. Rights and Obligations of the Client
- The client agrees to follow the crew’s instructions and observe onboard safety rules.
- The client is responsible for any damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
- Pets are not allowed on board.
7. Rights and Obligations of the Operator
- The operator reserves the right to alter the route or itinerary due to adverse weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
- The operator ensures the vessel’s seaworthiness, safety equipment, and experienced crew.
8. Final Provisions
- These terms apply to all bookings.
- Any changes must be made in writing and confirmed by both parties.
- Contractual relations are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama.
